My Little Pony (MLP) Roleplay

"I have a theory... it may sound pretty far-fetched, though. Maybe Sine is an earth pony that can use magic?"

"It's not entirely out of the question. I mean, the crystal ponies are technically earth ponies, yet they can use magic. And Applejack and Pinkie Pie can use magic with the help if their Elements of Harmony."

"Well, Sine definitely isn't a crystal pony. Maybe... just maybe... an Element has formed a connection with Sine?"

"It does seem possible, especially considering that Red, Blue, and Lunaria's Elements awoke quite recently. If an Element has really awakened, then we have to find it!"

"We'll need to wait for Sine to recover first. He's in no shape to go anywhere at the moment."

"Wait... What do you mean? Where are you planning to take me...?"

"If Mr. Gear is correct, and an Element has awoken, we have to find it. The problem is, it won't reveal itself to anypony other than the one it is connected to. Seeing as you haven't been anywhere where you could have picked up magic residue, the only explanation is that an Element has reacted to you and is trying to reach you. That being so, you're the only one that can find it and retrieve it. Mr. Gear and I will go with in case of danger. The three of us will leave as soon as you've recovered."

*A few days later, Sine has recovered. The three prepare to set out*

"Okay, let's make sure we have everything we need."

*Axle looks through his bag*

"Plenty of food and water... Maps and a compass... Bedrolls and tents... Yep, I think we're ready."

*Twilight is writing a letter to Princess Celestia*

"Dear Princess Celestia,

I believe that I am on the trail of a newly discovered Element of Harmony. It is likely connected to Mr. Sine Radian, a local architect. I am going to set out with Spike, Mr. Radian, and Mr. Axle Gear to retrieve it. I will keep you updated as our journey progresses.

Twilight Sparkle"

*Twilight gives the letter to Spike, and he sends it off to Celestia*

"Mr. Radian, I have a question for you. When an Element awakens, it sends visions of its location to the pony it is connected to. Clear your mind and let these visions in. What do you see?"

"Well... I see my alma mater... Which is my university/grad school... Far beyond the Everfree Forest..."

"Your school... It must be hidden away there! Let's go!"

*The group goes to the school*

"Okay... Let's see if the visions have gotten more specific. What do you see now?"

"I see myself winning a maths contest trophy and an architecture contest... They are in the trophy cases."

"The Element must be hidden in there! Let's hurry!"

*The group enters the main building and approaches the trophy case.*

"It's likely that you'll need to pass some sort of trial to retrieve the Element. All we can do for the moment is wait for the Element to try and contact you again."

*At that moment, a voice only Sine can hear speaks*

"Nevermore... nevermore..."

*Axle's magic detector begins beeping*

"Oh? My magic detector's reacting to something..."

*Responding to the peculiar voice*

"What do you mean...?"

*Twilight looks confused, as the voice speaks again*

"Nevermore..."

*The voice fades, and Axle's magic detector stops reacting*

"What could have caused the detector to react like that?"

"There's only one explanation: The Element has contacted Mr. Radian! Did you hear a voice just now?"

"It's really faint; It's indistinguishable."

"What did the voice say? It must have been giving a clue!"

*Sine concentrates...*

"It's saying... Nevermore... Is it supposed to mean something?"

"Nevermore..."

*Twilight thinks for a minute*

"I'm drawing a blank. I have no clue what it could mean."

"Nevermore..."

*Axle's face lights up*

"Quoth the Raven: Nevermore! It's a line from a poem!"

"Oh! You're right! Maybe the Element is telling Mr. Radian to find the book that the poem is in! To the library!"

*The group rushes to the library and talks to the librarian*

"We're looking for a book of poems by Edgar Allan Poe. Do you have any?"

Librarian (Bookworm): "Let me check..."

*Bookworm looks in a catalog*

Bookworm: "It looks like we have only one in stock."

*Bookworm writes a code on a card and gives it to Twilight*

Bookworm: "It should be there, unless somepony has taken it already."
