"This isn't over yet, Wizard!"

*Robin spins his staff over his head and stabs the bottom into the ground*

"Safanasale Qukisabo! Sosave'sa J'onosu'fa!"

*A crack opens in the ground where Robin's staff is stuck. It worms its way to Wizard's feet, then spreads and glows red. A geyser of lava shoots out from the cracked ground*

"Dear Celestia!"

*Wizard leaps back, narrowly avoiding being engulfed in lava. His coat is singed, though*

"Are you insane?! You could have killed me!"

"Oh, believe me. If I wanted to kill you, you'd have been dead the moment we started fighting. I've been limiting my mana strength to non-lethal levels. You might have ended up badly burned, but you wouldn't have died. Although..."

*Robin pulls his staff up from the ground*

"I am getting tired of this. Shall we end this with a clash of our strongest spells?"

"Sounds good to me. But you'd better not hold back, or you won't stand a chance."

*Wizard removes the golden sapphire ring from his left claw and replaces it with a large diamond ring. He switches the facing of his Driver, then waves the ring over it*

"INFINITY!!"

*A glowing white magic circle opens up on Wizard's chest*

"INFINITY!!"

*A glimmering gemstone dragon flies out of it and circles Wizard as a second circle opens at Wizard's feet and moves up his body*

"INFINITY!!"

*His coat is repaired and becomes silver, and the gems on his armor become diamonds. Additional armor pieces appear on his body: shoulder plates, gauntlets, and leg armor*

"PLEASE!!"

*The gemstone dragon flies into Wizard's back, making his armor shine*

"HII-SUI-FU-DO! BOU-JABA-BYU-DOGON!!"

*Wizard holds his left claw up, allowing his ring to catch the light*

"I am the last hope. Let's see what you've got."

"Holy..."

*Robin stares in awe for a moment, then shakes his head and focuses*

"Infinity, huh? Let's see if it lives up to its name!"

*He holds his staff out, pointing the tip towards Wizard*

"Soamj'okoku... Su'koamle... J'osoamme'fa... TE'KIKAJ'OME'LE'KU!!"

*He suddenly thrusts the staff toward the sky. The stone atop the staff flashes, and the sky becomes blindingly bright. A concentrated beam of pure, destructive light falls from the sky onto Wizard*

*Wizard simply stands his ground as the beam of light falls on him. When the beam stops, Wizard is standing there, undamaged*

"Heh. Light magic won't work on Infinity. It's the purest essence of hope and light."

*Wizard waves his diamond ring over his Driver again*

"Axcalibur, come forth!"

*A shining silver axe with a red blade appears in Wizard's right claw. There is a hand symbol on its face, and the blade shines red, blue, yellow, and green*



"Time for the finale!"

*Wizard puts his left claw against the hand symbol*

"HIGH-FIVE! SHINING STRIKE!!"

*Wizard leaps up and spins the axe over his head as it grows to gigantic proportions and sparkles*

"KIRA-KIRA!! KIRA-KIRA!!"

*Wizard flips and brings the axe down, inches away from Robin's head. He looks up at Robin, smirking beneath his mask*

"Looks like I win."

*Robin stares at Wizard in disbelief*

"Y-You didn't win! You missed me!"

"Trust me. If I hadn't missed, we wouldn't be talking right now."

*Wizard removes his Driver and turns back into Haruto*

"Still, you put up a heck of a fight. I'm glad you're on our side."

*He holds out his claw*

*Robin places his hoof in Wizard's claw and shakes it*

"As am I. Your magic is terrifying. I-urrk!"

*He suddenly collapses*

"Robin!!"

*Haruto catches Robin and sets him down*

"Is your mana unbalanced? Which potion should I get?"

"H-Haruto..."

*Robin slowly lifts his head*

"Yellow... The yellow potion..."

*Haru searches through Robin's bag, pulls out a yellow potion, and pours it into Robin's mouth*

*As Robin drinks the potion, his energy slowly returns to him. He sits up*

"Thank you... You've saved my life twice now... I normally don't use this much magic in such a short time, so I don't have this sort of problem often. Thank you... Haru."

*Suddenly, Robin leaps up and hugs Haruto*

"Whoa!"

*Haruto is surprised, but returns the hug*

*Robin suddenly realizes what he is doing and jumps back, blushing furiously*

"Erm... Ah..."

*He looks at the ground and mutters to himself*

"Control, Robin! You have to act more stallionish!"

*He looks back at Haruto and clears his throat*

"I'm so sorry, Haruto. I don't know what came over me."

*Haruto glares at Robin suspiciously*

"I think I know what's going on, Robin. The cloak, the high voice, the hug..."

*He suddenly reaches out and pulls off Robin's cloak*

*Robin's body is slender and short, with little muscle*

"Eek!"

*Robin grabs his cloak back and quickly wraps it around himself*

"Just as I thought. You aren't a stallion at all! You're a mare!"

*Robin stops and stares at Wizard*

"You..."

*He, or rather she, hangs her head in defeat*

"You got me. I'm not a stallion. I'm a weak, frail mare."

"Weak? Frail? What are you talking about?"

*Haru sits next to Robin and puts his claw around her*

"You're just about as strong as I am! And that's really saying something!"

"Oh, don't try and cheer me up."

*Robin begins to sob*

"Mares aren't strong enough to fight. I can't keep up with anypony. I'll never be strong! I... I... Waah!!"

*She buries her head in Haruto's shoulder and cries*

*Haruto rubs the back of Robin's head, comforting her*

"There, there. Let it all out. You'll feel better."

*After a few minutes, Robin looks up at Haru, her eyes full of tears*

"*sniff* Th-thank you... But I'll just be a burden if I stay with you. I... I'll leave."

"Robin, listen to me."

*Haru looks into Robin's eyes*

"You're really strong. I had a lot of trouble keeping up with you, even when you were holding back. Your magic is some of the strongest I've ever seen."

"B-but... I'm a mare! *sniff* I'll only get in the way!"
