My Little Pony (MLP) Roleplay

*Twilight nods and enters the room, closing the door behind her*

"Cadance? You wanted to see me?"

*Cadance is nowhere to be seen*

"Hello? Cadance, are you here?"

*Twilight begins to search the room*

*Cadance suddenly appears behind Twilight with a spell prepared and aimed at her*

"Turn around slowly. One wrong move and you're toast."

*Twilight is terrified*

"Cadance? What in the world are you doing?!"

"I said turn around!"

*Cadance jabs her horn into the back of Twilight's head*

"Ow! Okay, okay!"

*Twilight turns around slowly*

"Cadance, what are you doing?!"

"Be quiet, Changeling! I know what you're planning, and I won't let you cause any more problems!"

"Changeling?"

*Twilight's eyes light up*

"I'm not the Changeling, Cadance! Shining Armor and the Guard are out looking for it now!"

*Cadance keeps the spell aimed at Twilight*

"Prove it. Prove that you're not a Changeling."

*Twilight begins performing her and Cadance's little game from when Twilight was a filly*

"Sunshine, sunshine, ladybugs awake. Clap your hooves and do a little shake!"

*Cadance's eyes lose their anger, and she begins to smile. She cancels the spell and hugs Twilight*

"It is you, Twilight! I'm sorry I doubted you!"

*Twilight hugs Cadance back*

"Don't worry about it, Cadance. Think of it as a reversal of the last time this happened."

"Funny how things work out like that, huh?"

*Cadance lets go of Twilight and begins to pace the room*

"But if you aren't the Changeling, then it's still out there. Still causing trouble. It's unforgivable!"

"You know about the analysis, eh?"

"Yes. I didn't want to believe that you were causing this, and when Gin Hikari proposed his investigation, I immediately gave him permission. He's been reporting his findings to me the whole time. Speaking of Gin..."

*Cadance opens the door, revealing the ponies waiting outside*

"You all can come in now. I want you all to hear what I'm about to say."

*The rest of the ponies enter the room*

"How did you know we were here, Cadance-hime?"

"I heard you talking outside. Now, please, listen closely."

*Cadance closes the door behind the others*

"Now, I'm counting on you to keep this between us. Understood?"

"You can count on us, Cadance."

"Good."

*Cadance glances at the window, then quickly closes the curtains*

"There. Much better. Now, please, take a look at this."

*Cadance reaches under her bed and pulls out a small wooden box. She opens it. Inside the box is a gleaming onyx gemstone that radiates magic energy*

"Do you know what this is?"

"It can't be... an Element of Harmony! Could it?!"

"It may well be, Twilight. Unfortunately, as you can see, it is unrefined. It hasn't chosen its wielder yet. Therein lies the problem."

*Cadance takes out the stone and holds it up*

"I've been keeping this stone safe for two years now. Aside from radiating magic, it hasn't done anything. If it is an Element, the fact that it has remained inert for two years, while other Elements have been awakening, is worrying. Perhaps its wielder hasn't yet discovered that they embody its aspect of Harmony."

*She puts the stone back in the box, closes it, and gives it to Twilight*

"I want you to take it, Twilight. Keep it with you at all times. One of your friends must have the ability to awaken it. Please, find that pony and awaken a new Element."

"I will, Cadance. You can count on me!"

*Twilight slips the box into her saddlebag*

"I wish I could stay and talk, but we need to go help with the search for the Changeling."

"Of course. Don't let me keep you any longer. But I have one more favor to ask of you, Twilight."

*Cadance walks up to Twilight and puts a hoof on her shoulder*

"Please... keep Shining Armor safe, whatever it takes. And, of course, keep yourselves safe."

"Of course, Cadance. We'll make sure that nopony gets hurt."

*The group leaves Cadance's room*
